The double-circuit shell-and-tube evaporator is a commonly used
heat exchange equipment, which is widely used in the heat exchange
process in industrial production. Its design structure includes two
independent circuits for heat transfer and cooling respectively. In
industrial production, double-loop shell-and-tube evaporator is
commonly used in the processes of heating, cooling and evaporation
to achieve heat transfer and heat exchange between different
substances.
The working principle of double-circuit shell-and-tube evaporator
is to make use of the shell-and-tube structure to conduct the heat
transfer medium (such as steam or thermal oil) in one circuit to
the medium (such as water or air) in the other circuit through
pipes to realise the transfer of heat energy. This design helps to
improve heat transfer efficiency and can be adapted to different
process requirements.
Performance Features
Shell and tube evaporator is a kind of heat exchanger with compact
structure, convenient installation and high heat exchange
performance, with the wall of copper tube bundle enclosed in the
shell as the heat transfer surface of the inter-wall heat
exchanger, which has the features of low cost and wide circulation
cross-section. It can be customised as single-loop, double-loop,
triple-loop and quadruple-loop system according to the usage
requirements, and it is the most widely used heat exchanger.
